2010s was a radi­cal wake-up call for the World. As we know that fly­ing or tou­rism can’t be tho­rough­ly can­cel­led as they are a nee­ded part of glo­bal eco­no­my, the­re are ways we can act and choo­se. ‘Thin­king glo­bal­ly, acting local­ly’ shouldn’t only be pret­ty words but put into action.

Last week Alp­land atten­ded Mat­ka Tra­vel Fair in Hel­sin­ki. We were hap­py and proud to pro­mo­te both Switz­er­land and Fin­nish Lapland as your poten­ti­al holi­day desti­na­ti­ons at the fair stand, fea­turing a real alpi­ne horn and fresh Swiss cheese. As we ack­now­ledge the World’s need of more sus­tainab­le tra­vel actions, we pro­mo­ted tours that are uni­que, build to be sus­tainab­le and detail­ed with our per­so­nal ser­vice. How this is done?
